Drake’s mansion scene of drive-by shooting days after Kendrick Lamar used image of it for diss track cover art

A security guard has been injured in a drive-by shooting at Drake’s mansion in Toronto just days after Kendrick Lamar used an image of the lavish property in cover art for his new diss track.

The incident reportedly happened around 2am ET in Canada, according to information posted by the Toronto Police Service on X. One suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and the guard was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The shooting occurred at the rapper’s lavish Park Lane Circle residence in the city’s prominent Bridle Path neighborhood.

The guard suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was not conscious when officials arrived at the home. He was standing outside of the gates in front of the residence when the shooting occurred.

Recently, Drake has been involved in an ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar who recently used a photo of Drake’s residence for a diss track against the rapper. Lamar created three similar songs about Drake in 36 hours.

The feud started when Lamar hit out at the Canadian rapper and J Cole in his song “First Person Shooter”.

While Cole is no longer in the conflict, the two rappers have continued to go at it. In songs responding to Lamar’s diss tracks, Drake accuses the rapper of domestic violence. Lamar in turn has accused Drake of having a secret daughter.

In another song titled, “Not Like Us”, the “Humble” rapper called Drake a “certified paedophile” and made multiple references to his alleged interactions with younger women.

“Say, Drake, I hear you like ‘em young,” Lamar started, stating that Drake would struggle because of his alleged interests. “You better not ever go to cell block one.”

Paul Krawczyk of the police service’s Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force said that authorities do not know the motive behind the shooting and are investigating the incident. It’s not known if Drake was home on Tuesday morning.
