Drag Race star Peppermint discusses possibility of All Stars Return

Peppermint has spoken about the possibility of returning to the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise.

The fan favourite queen made it to the final four in series 9 when Sasha Velour took the crown home.

Since then, both Shea Coulee and Trinity The Tuck have returned for an All Stars series and won, meaning three out of the top four of season nine have been crowned.

Speaking on an Instagram live about whether she’s keen to try and complete the set, Peppermint explained: "I would agree that the Top 4 of season 9 is already legendary, but you're right.

"If we all had crowns, we'd all have crowns and I would love to do it."

But Peppermint added that she also had other things she hoped to achieve during her career too.

"Before I fell in love with Drag Race, I had other dreams and I'm living them right now," she explained.

"I hope you can all support that as well, I know that the only reason a lot of you are here is because you've discovered me on Drag Race. I've got to tell you, I was doing all that stuff that you liked on Drag Race before I'd even ever heard of Drag Race.

"I hope you all want to see me do more than just Drag Race."

Peppermint, who has gone on to star in Pose and Saturday Night Live, continued: "But yes, that's one of the dreams I have. My best big dream is to win an Emmy and I can't do that on Drag Race.

"Some people can do that on Drag Race, but unfortunately the contestants don't do that because it's a reality show, it's not set up that way.

"The creators of the shows will get the Emmy's, RuPaul has gotten countless Emmy's.

"I would love to go back to Drag Race, I would love to go back to Broadway, and I would also love to star in a movie and things like that."

The eighth series of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is arriving May 12, 2023 on Paramount+ in the US and WOW Presents+ in the UK.

Taking part in the show is Alexis Michelle, Darienne Lake, Heidi N Closet, Jaymes Mansfield, Jessica Wild, Kahanna Montrese, Kandy Muse, Mrs. Kasha Davis, LaLa Ru Monica Beverly Hillz and Naysha Lopez.

Canada's Drag Race star Jimbo is also joining the series as the only International queen.
