Dr. Fauci slams Lara Logan for comparing him to Nazi doctor on Fox News: ‘Unconscionable’

Dr. Anthony Fauci said he’s “astounded” that Fox News host Lara Logan compared him to Nazi doctor Josef Mengele over his backing of COVID-19 vaccines.

The world-famous pandemic doctor said it was shameful for the South African-born talking head to compare promoting lifesaving vaccines to the Holocaust.

“It’s unconscionable what she said,” Fauci said in an interview on MSNBC late Thursday. “She was being totally slanderous to me and as usual, had no idea what she was talking about.”

Fauci also said he was “astounded” that Logan’s colleagues on Fox allowed her bizarre insults go unchallenged in real-time and not held accountable for her commentary.

“How they can let her say that with no comment and no disciplinary action,” said Fauci, the Chief Medical Advisor to the President. “I’m astounded by that.”

Fauci has not appeared on Fox in months apparently in protest of the network’s giving a platform of anti-vaxxer lies.

Logan, 50, a former journalist and war correspondent for CBS News, left the network to join the right-wing Sinclair network in 2018 before launching her eponymous show on the Fox Nation streaming service last year.

She has become an outspoken enemy of COVID-19 vaccines, regularly spreading anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories.

“He doesn’t represent science. He represents Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews in concentration camps during the Holocaust,” Logan said.

Logan claimed to have been speaking to “people all across the world” who share her disgraceful opinion about Fauci.

The Anti-Defamation League and the Auschwitz Holocaust Museum also criticized Logan. She responded by blocking the Auschwitz museum on Twitter.
