Dr. Dre’s wife says he ‘expelled’ her from home, ‘secretly’ transferred assets after years of ‘abuse’

Dr. Dre’s estranged wife is suing the music mogul for allegedly hiding assets after years of chronic “mistreatment.”

“This is a sad and sordid tale,” the lawsuit filed Friday and obtained by the Daily News states.

Dre — born Andre Romelle Young — “forced” Nicole to leave their home April 2 “after a night of Andre’s alcohol induced, brutal rage” which included him telling his wife of 24-years to “get the f--k out,” the filing states.

It says Dre then “secretly” transferred his highly valuable “Dr. Dre” and “The Chronic” trademarks to a “new entity” on April 27, thereby denying her “equal ownership" after “years of domination, control, abuse and mistreatment.”

“How could someone treat his partner and spouse of 24 years, who helped transform him into a legitimate and respected business person as well as the devoted and hardworking mother of his three children with such indifference and misogyny, in disregard of her legal rights?” the 10-page complaint asks.

It calls the “transparent and reprehensible scheme” a “classic example of greed and deceit” involving “lavish riches estimated to be close to a billion dollars.”

The couple was married on May 25, 1996, before Dre started registering the trademarks in 1997, the paperwork claims.

“These valuable trademarks were filed during Andre’s marriage to Nicole, which coincided with Andre’s years of rising success in the music industry,” the filing states.

Dre’s divorce lawyer Laura Wasser did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The News.

“They were married in 1996. ‘Chronic’ came out in ’92 and Dr. Dre used his name since the ’80′s, so it’s all his and his alone,” a source close to the businessman reportedly told TMZ.com.

Nicole, who filed for divorce in June, made clear in separate paperwork last month that she is challenging the “validity and enforceability” of the couple’s premarital agreement.

That paperwork says Dre, a famous rapper, producer and entrepreneur whose real name is Andre Young, “demanded” that Nicole sign the prenup before they tied the knot.

“Andre placed undue pressure upon Nicole to sign the agreement in order to get married, leaving her no choice but to do so. She reluctantly signed it,” her paperwork said.

“Around two to three years after they were married, Andre tore up the parties' premarital agreements in Nicole’s presence,” the filing said.

Nicole and the super producer share two adult children — daughter Truly, 19, and son Truice, 23.

In one of their last public appearances together, the couple held hands as they posed with Truly at Tom Ford’s fashion show held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles in February.

Nicole’s new fraud lawsuit filed Friday asks for “compensatory, restitution and consequential damages.”
