DQ’s Mint Oreo Blizzard Might Be Even Better Than the Shamrock Shake

Step aside, Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.

Dairy Queen is royalty when it comes to winter Blizzards. Back in December, the Blizzard of the Month was the Candy Cane Chill, made with peppermint pieces and choco chunks. Well, brace yourself for another cool treat. In March, DQ’s Blizzard of the Month will be the Mint Oreo Blizzard!

What Is the Mint Oreo Blizzard?

It’s the perfect edible accessory for your St. Patrick’s Day outfit. The fan-favorite Mint Oreo Blizzard has a bright green mint color! It’s made with classic Dairy Queen soft serve, craveable Oreo pieces and creme de menthe flavor.

If for some reason you’re don’t love Oreos (what?!), cookie-haters can cool off with the DQ Mint Chip Shake, a sippable treat of creme de menthe blended with chocolate shavings and creamy vanilla soft serve. Is it just us or does the Mint Chip Shake sound suspiciously like the classic Shamrock Shake?

Is This Blizzard on the Menu Yet?

Yes! Even though it will be the March flavor of the month, Mint Oreo Blizzards are already on Dairy Queen’s website. The ice cream chain has been known to start selling limited edition Blizzards early, so it might be worth it to check and see if your local DQ has them already.

Like McDonald’s and the Shamrock Shake, you can only find the Mint Oreo Blizzard at participating Dairy Queen locations for a limited time!
