Looking for an array of diverse food, performances and crafts in Middle Georgia? You’re in luck.

Warner Robins will hold its inaugural International City Experience Saturday. The event will showcase global cuisines, cultural performances, and artisan crafts from around the world. The International City Experience promises to be a vibrant celebration of the city’s rich cultural diversity, according to city officials.

“This event provides another opportunity for us to join together for fun and culture,” said Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick.

Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and flavors of over 30 international food vendors.

In addition to the many food options, the event will host more than 45 vendors presenting handcrafted goods by local artisans and representing diverse cultures.

From traditional crafts to contemporary creations, visitors will have ample opportunities to explore and appreciate the talents of these cultural ambassadors, city officials said.

“The International City Experience provides us the opportunity to show Georgia the cultural experience that Warner Robins has to offer,” said Patrick. “We have a diverse lineup of stage performances including Bulgaria, France, Brazil, Indonesia, Latin America, Barbados - the list goes on.”

Event-goers can look forward to engaging in a variety of activities that promote cultural exchange and creativity - from traditional dances and interactive workshops to family-friendly games, Patrick said there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Perkins Field located at 105 Mulberry St.

“The International City Experience promises to be an unforgettable celebration of diversity and unity within our community,” Patrick said. “Come get your passport stamped by visiting 30 international food vendors, 45 arts and crafts vendors and 14 stage performances.”
