COSHOCTON − The Downtowner Plaza is up for sale via an online auction scheduled for April 29 to May 1 by Avid Commercial Real Estate. Details are listed on LoopNet, an online marketplace for commercial property.

The property is listed at 254,980 square feet with 71% of it leased to tenants. Along with the main portion most people think of as the Downtown Plaza is adjacent greenspace and land containing Advance Auto Parts and Hardee's. There's about four acres of land for future development.

The current owner of the property as listed with the Coshocton County Auditor's Office is Aldrich Management Co. of East Meadow, New York. Wesley Staples of Avid via had no comment on the auction.

Major retailers include Tractor Supply Co., Tobacco Discounters, Tobacco Everything, Rent-A-Center, Cricket Wireless and Big Lots. Restaurants are Subway, Creno's Pizza and China Wok. The Long John Silver's building is still standing, but has been closed since a fire in December 2019. An anchor store in Baker's IGA closed in October 2018.

Other businesses are Shelby Theaters, One Main Financial, H&R Block, Edward Jones Investments, Holiday Hair, Z Nails, Beltone, Wesco, Coshocton County Department of Motor Vehicles, Interim Healthcare, Sunrise Laundry, Roger's Barber Shoppe, the River Church, Midwest Community Center, LifeStyle Home Furnishings and clinics for Muskingum Valley Health Centers and Genesis HealthCare System.

The facility was built in 1968 and renovated in 1991. The shopping center has one single story inline building, four single story inline multi-tenant strip buildings and three single tenant retail buildings. There are 15 units available for lease. The auction listing also notes ample parking of approximately 1,200 spaces.

Net operating income is noted at $938,008. Total property assessment value as of 2022 was $8.3 million.
