Dove Cameron Styled Her Regencycore Dress With a Y2K Makeup Look
Dove Cameron has her plate full. It doesn't matter if she's taking on new acting roles, writing viral songs, or creating subversive music videos, she always makes time to serve a lewkkkk. Whether it's a balletcore moment or reinventing the suit during the Schmigadoon! press tour, best believe we're eating up (for ~Breakfast~) anything Dove wears.
The actress continued to push style boundaries in a drop-waist gown with a gem-studded corset bodice that gave all of the regencycore (read: Bridgerton) vibes, complete with a pleated tea-length skirt with damask flowers in the sweetest powder green shade. The dress had little tan straps that matched Dove's nude platform heels, as well as a sheer layer of tulle that peaked out from under her hemline.
And of course, Dove couldn't hit the step-and-repeat without putting her signature edgy twist on the Soft Girl look, so the actress wore some chunky cocktail rings on her tattooed fingers that highlighted her blue chinoiserie manicure.
Dove styled her dark hair in a slicked-back ponytail with a middle part, pulling out two sections that were held back with two silver styling clips on each side. She wore a bold wash of Y2K-style icy blue eyeshadow, along with flirty false eyelashes, a bold straight brow, and pinky-brown lip liner.
The actress attended the second Annual Cameron Boyce Foundation Gala along with Adam Sandler, Debbie Ryan, fellow Descendants cast members Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson, Brenna D'Amico, and other actors to honor the memory of their late friend and castmate, Cameron Boyce.
It's been almost four years since the actor unexpectedly passed away due to an epileptic seizure. "Cameron proved to all of us that kindness is vital," his sister Maya Boyce shared during the gala. "He was the epitome of selflessness, and he made it his mission to teach kids and grown-ups alike how they, too, could give back. In Cameron's own words, "The leaders of tomorrow are fierce and unafraid."'
