Double-doubles and milestones: Vote for Nashville area girls basketball athlete of the week
There were a lot of double-doubles and several career milestones passed in Nashville area high school girls basketball last week.
You can vote for the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries player of the week below. Nominees are from all classes in games from Jan. 22-27.
Voting will close Thursday at noon.
DJ Haws, BGA: Haws had 18 points and 14 rebounds in a 54-46 loss to Grace Christian.
Ella Ryan, Brentwood: Ryan averaged 29.6 points in Brentwood’s wins over Franklin, Independence and Summit.
Imari Berry, Clarksville: The Clemson signee and newly selected McDonald's All-American had 27 points in the Lady Wildcats' 64-15 win over Kirkwood. She also had 21 points in a win over Rossview and 14 in a win over Springfield.
Lily Morrow, CPA: Morrow scored 20 points in a 60-53 win over Lipscomb.
Cai'ra Simmons, Davidson Academy: Simmons scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a loss to Ezell-Harding.
Abby Bryan, Lincoln County: She scored 22 points and added 15 rebounds and four 3-pointers in a win over Columbia Central. She also had 16 points, six rebounds and four 3s in a win over Shelbyville.
Anna Clay Shirley, MTCS: Shirley scored 32 points in a 74-44 win over BGA. She surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career with 30 points in a 71-49 win over Columbia Academy.
Mary Elizabeth Fox, Page: Fox had 17 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 56-21 win over Summit. She totaled 17 points, 13 rebounds and three steals in a 63-24 win over Centennial. She also had 21 points, nine rebounds and four steals in a 57-49 win over Franklin.
Kayte Madison Bjornstad, PCA: Madison dominated with 20 points with 17 rebounds in a 55-49 win over MTCS.

Natalie Prestegaard, Ravenwood: Prestegaard scored 11 points in a 62-40 loss to Nolensville, but became the all-time leader in career 3-pointers at Ravenwood with her 159th 3-pointer.
Lily Melton, Tullahoma: Melton had 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal in a 47-40 win over Lawrence County.
