Doritos Unleashes New Late Night Flavor That Will Delight Your Tastebuds

Variety of Doritos chip bags on store shelves.

Doritos is swapping out its current Late Night chip flavor for a new, even cheesier variety.

Reported to replace the Doritos Late Night Loaded Taco flavor is Sizzlin' Cheeseburger, which, if that sounds familiar, you wouldn't be the first to think so.

Since the new addition was announced online, fans have been reminded of their love for the All Nighter Cheeseburger Doritos, which was available for about a year before Frito-Lay discontinued it in 2010.

Foodie influencers Markie_Devo and Snackolater, both of whom regularly preview to-be-launched snacks and fast food items, confirmed Sizzlin' Cheeseburger is exclusive to Kroger stores and has already been found on shelves.

"It’s described simply as one bold crunch," Markie_Devo revealed in the caption. "I hope it tastes like the OG cheeseburger Dorito they used to have. I loved that one!!"

The internet personality isn't the only one hoping Sizzlin' Cheeseburger's flavor profile is similar to that of its predecessor from 14 years ago.

"I remember when they had these in 2010 so good," one Instagram user gushed.

"Those were my fav of all time the cheeseburger ones," another shared. "Hope [I] can find in Canada."

A third quipped, "It's been 14 years...."

"Why can’t they release these everywhere?!" someone else asked, explaining that they think "Kroger exclusives suck" because "there are no krogers near me."

While it is a Kroger exclusive, the chips will presumably be stocked at all the stores that operate under the Kroger brand banner (Ralphs, Smith's, King Soopers, Fry's, QFC, City Market, Owen's, Jay C, Pay Less, Baker's, Gerbes, Pick 'n Save, Metro Market and Mariano's) just like the Late Night Loaded Taco Doritos flavor had been.
