When you see a bag of Doritos at a party, do you wonder who sprung for the good stuff? There’s just something about the sight of the snack, whether it’s the classic flavor or one of the brand’s many new launches (hello, Dinamita rolled chips, the "best chip ever created," and grocery store exclusives at Walmart and Kroger), that elevates the status of the snack table.

Just in time for grilling season, Doritos is raising the bar by bringing back two flavors that scream, “We’re perfect for burgers and dogs,” and have fans screaming, “Yayyyyayayayayayay!!!!!!” on social media.

That exuberant “yay” was a comment on Snackgator’s Instagram post that announced, “Doritos Ketchup and Spicy Mustard flavors will be back on shelves again soon for the summer months.”

Doritos introduced its Classic Ketchup and Spicy Mustard flavors two years ago. When they first dropped, the brand described the ketchup-flavored chips as “based on Canadian-style ketchup with a tangy and subtly sweet taste,” and the spicy mustard-flavored chips as inspired by “Chinese hot mustard to deliver a big kick to the taste buds.”

“The mustard ones were good, but they burned my nose,” an Instagram commenter noted. The heat didn’t stop another commenter from saying, “Can’t wait—I love the spicy mustard,” and another simply called the mustard variety, “MY BELOVED.”

But the ketchup flavor got some love, too, although it was a little less passionate. Fans commented, “Ketchup chips all day! Let's go!” and “Ketchup is good.”

The Spicy Mustard and Classic Ketchup Doritos should show up on store shelves soon—we’ve spotted them online at Safeway—so we bet you’ll be able to add them to your cookout menu by Memorial Day, if not sooner.

Will we see a TikTok trend of people putting chips on their burgers and dogs instead of actual ketchup and mustard? Or perhaps folks will mix them into recipes like Doritos Locos Meatloaf (meatloaf + ketchup = match made in heaven) or to add an extra, mustard-y tang to Spicy Doritos Chicken. However they are enjoyed, it's nice to know they're back.
