Don't have eclipse safety glasses? Library, convenience stores are giving them away.

Local libraries and convenience stores are offering free safety glasses for Monday's total solar eclipse.

Erie County Public Library is giving away free eclipse glasses at Blasco Library in Erie and at branch libraries in Millcreek, Fairview, Lawrence Park and Edinboro.

Patrons can use their library card to receive a pair.

GetGo is giving away glasses at five local locations: 1625 Bayfront Parkway,1655 W. Bayfront Parkway, 6005 Knowledge Parkway, 6400 Peach St., and 4307 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek.

No purchase is necessary.

Country Fair is offering free eclipse glasses to Club Citgo members with any purchase.

The glasses are available at all Erie area Country Fair locations.

Library and convenience store supplies are limited. The free glasses will be available while supplies last.

Safety glasses are necessary to prevent eye damage while viewing the eclipse.
