Don’t want to ring in 2023 at home? Here’s where to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Miami

Here are a few ideas, whether you’re looking for fireworks, family-friendly fun or a big, champagne-filled night with special entertainment.

Bayfront Park

The City of Miami presents its annual and free extravaganza with food, entertainment and — of course — fireworks. The musical lineup includes Arturo Sandoval, Aymeé Nuviola, Willy Chirino and Amaury Gutiérrez, among others, with a special performance by Nomcebo.

Noon Year’s Eve at Miami Children’s Museum

Get the kids involved in the NYE fun and join the Theater Troupe for an apple juice toast and MiChiMu counting down to the noon hour with a balloon drop and confetti cannons.

New Year’s Eve at Wynwood Marketplace

Join this free event, which includes fireworks, sets by DJ and MC Mr Pauer and a ball-drop countdown with LED lighting. RSVP for a free drink. 21 and up only.

Captain’s Ball at The Wharf

Grab a captain’s hat and set sail for 2023 with live music, drinks, and food from Sake Room, Spris Artisan Pizza, Sweet River, La Santa Taqueria, and Knotty Burgers. 21 and older only.

New Year’s Eve on Española Way

Want a family-friendly, outdoor spot to ring in the new year? Head to the free celebration on historic Española Way in Miami Beach and watch street performers interact with revelers as well as a countdown screen to see when 2023 begins. There’s a DJ, too. Reservations required for individual restaurants.

Amara at Paraiso

Many of Miami’s restaurants have special New Year’s Eve menus, but how many have their own fireworks? At Michael Schwartz’s waterfront spot, you’ll see the restaurant’s own fireworks display while enjoying a three- or four-course meal. Also: Veuve Champagne photo booth and champagne carts, a DJ and fire dance performances throughout the evening at 10:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Golden Solstice New Year’s Eve at Nikki Beach

Enjoy a private oceanside fireworks show at midnight and a special performance by Nikki Beach’s dance troupe. Only 21 and over admitted.

Oceanic Masquerade at Sexy Fish

Brickell’s most over-the-top clubstaurant wants to make your underwater dreams come true without actually drowning you. You’ll be surrounded by masked (human) sea creatures and enjoy a hedonistic set from guest DJ Seth Troxler. There are omakase tasting menus with cocktail and bottle service.

Party of the Future at Clevelander

South Beach’s wildest party spot transforms into a floating spaceship with entertainment, DJs and, of course, specialty cocktails. You can choose general admission on the first floor by the pool or access that space plus the sixth floor rooftop. No shorts, either — the Clevelander is keeping it classy with a strict dress code of cocktail attire.
