The Dolphins have elevated quarterback Mike Glennon and outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett from the practice squad for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the New York Jets.

It’s possible Miami could have three quarterbacks active for the must-win game at Hard Rock Stadium. Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on Friday said he is “hoping” Teddy Bridgewater, who was limited throughout the week with a dislocated pinkie on his right (throwing) hand, will be able to back up rookie Skylar Thompson.

Glennon, a 10-year veteran, signed to the practice squad on Wednesday. The 33-year-old has 31 starts, including four last year as a member of the New York Giants, but has not been on an NFL roster all season. Glennon has completed 60.1 percent of his passes for 7.025 yards, 47 touchdowns and 35 interceptions.

It’s the second consecutive elevation for Scarlett, who made his season debut in the Dolphins’ Week 17 loss to the New England Patriots. Scarlett, who started four games for Miami last season, played 14 special teams snaps and zero defensive snaps.

Fellow outside linebacker Bradley Chubb is questionable to play after missing Week 17 because of injuries to his hand and ankle. However, McDaniel said he is “optimistic” Chubb will be able to return to the field.
