The Dolphins on Wednesday announced dates and times for their three preseason games against the Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Miami will open its preseason slate at home against the Falcons on Aug. 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Dolphins will then travel to play preseason games against the Texans and Jaguars. Miami’s game against Houston is scheduled for Aug. 19 at 8 p.m., while the preseason finale against Jacksonville is scheduled for Aug. 26 at 7 p.m.

Each game will be broadcast on CBS.

The NFL released the 2023 regular season schedule last week, as well as preseason games, but dates and times for Miami’s preseason slate were not announced at the time.

Dolphins assistant to participate in diversity networking program

Dolphins tight ends coach/assistant head coach Jon Embree will participate in the NFL’s coach accelerator program at the league’s spring meeting in Minneapolis next week.

It’s the second year the league will hold the diversity networking program, following the inaugural event in 2022. Embree is one of 40 coaches who will participate.

The program “aims to increase exposure between owners, executives, and diverse coaching talent, providing ample opportunity to develop and build upon their relationships,” according to a release from the league.

Embree is entering his second season as Miami’s tight ends coach and assistant head coach, joining head coach Mike McDaniel from the San Francisco 49ers as a member of his inaugural staff. Embree has also coached tight ends with the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had a two-year stint as head coach at Colorado, his alma mater.
