‘Dolly magic’: Live like the country queen at new Parton-themed Myrtle Beach resort rooms

With the holidays and the start of the new year approaching, there’s a birthday one Myrtle Beach resort wants visitors to never forget.

Kingston Resorts is hosting Happy Dolly Days, complete with Dolly Parton themed suites and events up until her birthday on Jan. 19.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Ocean Front, which recently underwent a multimillion dollar renovation, will have suites decked out in pink and Dolly Parton artwork, with rates starting at $249 per night.

“With the final phase of our property-wide renovation officially complete, we knew we had to blow this holiday season out of the water,” Bob Barenberg, managing director of Kingston Resorts told Travel Awaits. “Not only is Dolly Parton a country music legend, but she’s also a philanthropist, inspires love and happiness in everything she does, and brings the season’s cheer like no one else. There’s going to be a lot of Dolly magic going on at Kingston Resorts these next couple of months, which we hope will be the start of a new holiday tradition for our guests.”

Here’s what you get if you book a Dolly-themed suite.

The suites, only located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Ocean Front resort, will be decorated with pink Christmas trees, a Dolly print, and festive lights and pink wreaths. Visitors will also get a take` home goodie bag, including Dolly Parton’s famous sugar cookie recipe, chocolate covered cherries and drink tickets for special Dolly Parton themed cocktails, according to the Kingston Resort website.

Black Drum Brewing and Spa33 are participating in the Dolly Parton love

Every weekend, Black Drum Brewing is serving up Dolly inspired drinks and meals with a rotating menu and live entertainment. Some of the limited-time menu items include stone soup, roasted chicken and pulled pork.

Black Drum Brewing is located at 9800 Queensway Blvd.

Spa33, located at the Kingston Resorts property, is getting into the holiday spirit with special Dolly Parton inspired packages. These include a 30-min hard candy Christmas peppermint body scrub, a 60-minute massage infused with seasonal aromatherapy, a “Why Did you Come in Here Looking Like That” 60-minute facial, and a manicure.

These special packages are $340 per person, $70 less than what these treatments typically cost at Spa33.
