Doja Cat Looks Like a Hot Garment Bag in This Pleather Cape and Thong

Normally, when someone on the street is wearing a coat with nothing underneath, you’ll wanna run for the hills. Leave it to Doja Cat to turn flashing into a stylish fashion moment.
While attending the Monse Maison pre–Met Gala cocktail party at La Mercerie in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood Sunday night, the unswervingly daring rapper sported a black pleather cape dress from Vetements, which she wore with nothing underneath except for a thong and a pair of transparent tights.
The shiny, coatlike design featured a long zipper in the front, which Doja left unconnected, so that the dress was hanging mostly open, except for a tiny portion fastened at the top.
The cloaking design didn’t feature sleeves, but there were holes for the star to slip her arms through, and the back of the dress featured the brand’s name printed across it in bold white letters. With the sharp rounded hemline at the top, it almost looked like the “Paint the Town Red” performer was touting a luxury hanging bag.
To complete the look, the rapper wore floral diamond earrings and a matching collar necklace, and she rocked clear platform heels down low.
Over the weekend, the Grammy winner actually modeled a string of bold looks from the Swiss fashion house, all while hanging out with the brand’s creative director, Guram Gvasalia. One of the showstopping ensembles was a white draping dress that basically looked like a bedsheet Doja had wrapped herself with as she trekked through NYC.
Then, she was spotted out and about in a shimmery two-piece that consisted of a bandeau top and a teeny-tiny miniskirt, making the rapper look like a Y2K pop star. If we were taking bets, we’d guess these teasers mean Doja Cat will be teaming up with the brand for the Met Gala tonight, as well. Only time will tell.
