Who Does Ty Eliminate on This Week's 'Farmer Wants a Wife'?

'Farmer Wants a Wife' Week 2

Farmer Ty had a busy week on Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2. After enjoying his one-on-one date (and a kiss) with Melody, the 42-year-old single father welcomed the rest of his suitors to his farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he put them to work cleaning poop from his horse stalls. Although he seemed to be having a grand-old time playing the field (not sure any of these women should be buying Ty's sensitive-man act just yet), there was one woman our bachelor just didn't vibe with—and he sent her packing.

Read on to find out who Farmer Ty eliminated in Week 2.

Erin

Ty said goodbye to Erin, the 31-year-old event planner from Georgetown, Texas. Although Erin didn't make much of an impression in the Season 2 premiere, she got a fair amount of screen-time this week. Unfortunately, it wasn't the good kind. She was mostly seen worrying about the fact that she lacked a connection with Ty, making it obvious early on that she was going to get the (cowboy) boot.

In a way, her fate was foreshadowed from the very get-go, when a bug FLEW INTO HER MOUTH right after she expressed hope that she would get time to "build a connection" with Ty. Clearly, it was not meant to be.

Ty broke the news to her gently, bringing up his favorite word ("spark"). Apparently, one wasn't there for him. "I don’t want to hurt you, but it’s not there all the way," he said. He then called the elimination process "a necessary evil."

“You can’t find your person without experiencing who isn’t your person," he added. So wise.

Erin shed a few tears over her elimination but ended her run on an optimistic (and clichéd) note. "Rejection isn’t fun, but when one door closes another door opens."
