Does Texas Tech play today? College football schedule for Red Raiders next game after Thursday
The Texas Tech football team is looking to get back to .500 and attempt a strong close to its 2023 campaign.
The Red Raiders ensured that momentum started with a 35-28 win against TCU on Thursday in a Big 12 Conference game at Jones AT&T Stadium. The victory means Tech (4-5, 3-3) evened up its conference mark, while downing the Horned Frogs (4-5, 2-4).
Does Texas Tech play today?
Texas Tech does not play Saturday after taking on TCU two days prior. The contest followed an open week for the Red Raiders, who were able to nurse Behren Morton back to health following a sprained AC joint which held him out of a road game against BYU.
Tech is looking to close out the season strong. More importantly, earn a berth into a bowl game.
That will be a considerable challenge as the Red Raiders schedule includes a road game against Kansas, hosting Central Florida in the home finale and Texas for the final time in Big 12 play in Austin.
