When does 'Big Brother' 2024 begin? CBS may have just dropped a small clue

"Big Brother" is around the corner.

The long-running CBS show is returning for a 26th season, host Julie Chen Moonves confirmed last year. But when does the summer staple premiere?

Here's everything we know so far.

When is the 'Big Brother' 2024 premiere?

Neither CBS nor "Big Brother" have given concrete details for season 26. But the network may have recently dropped a clue.

The show started Aug. 2 in 2023 due to the Writers Guild of America strike, and its season finale didn't air until November. And as ScreenRant recently noted, "Big Brother" was notably missing from the CBS fall schedule that was just released last week, so the show will likely return to its normal summer slot this year.

Every season, except for Nos. 9, 22 and 25, have started between June 22 and July 13, and they typically end in September, per ScreenRant. Fans can likely expect the show to start sometime in late June or early July.

How many seasons of 'Big Brother' are there?

Technically, there are 25 seasons of "Big Brother." But there have been three seasons of "Celebrity Big Brother," which Moonves recently told Us Weekly she expects to return during an upcoming winter. There was also one season of the spinoff series "Big Brother: Over the Top," and the "Big Brother Reindeer Games" holiday special aired for the first time last year.

What days will 'Big Brother' 2024 air?

While the schedule hasn't been announced yet, "Big Brother" typically airs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
