New doctors now practicing in Tri-Cities, Prosser. Physical therapy clinic opens

Two new doctors and an advanced registered nurse practitioner have begun practicing in Tri-Cities and Prosser clinics, and a new physical therapy clinic has opened.

Tri-Cities cardiologist

Dr. Amardeep Mann has joined the medical staff of Trios Health in Kennewick and Lourdes Health in Pasco to provide cardiovascular care.

He will see patients at both the Lourdes Medical Center, 520 N. Fourth Ave., Pasco, and the Trios Care Center at Southridge’s fourth floor clinic, 3730 Plaza Way in Kennewick.

He is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine and by the International Board of Heath Rhythm Examiners.

He specializes in preventative and general diagnostic cardiology, nuclear tests, tilt table test, stress echocardiography, cardiac catheterizations, echocardiograms, loop recorder, pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.

He earned his doctor of medicine degree from GURU Gobind Singh Medical School in India, completed his residency at the University of Southern California and did his fellowship in cardiology at the University of Southern California.

Prosser gastroenterologist

Dr. Michael McDonnell has joined Prosser Memorial Health’s Prosser Digestive Health Center.

He has decades of experience in medicine, including roles as staff physician, unit chief and associate chief of gastroenterology. He is board certified for internal medicine and gastroenterology.

McDonnell, who has been in the Pacific Northwest since 1997, joined Prosser Memorial on the recommendation of long-time colleague Dr. Mitchell Cohen, who started the gastroentrology program there.

McDonnell is bringing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography to Prosser Memorial. It is a new service that combines X-ray and endoscopic technology.

He also will provide treatment for celiac disease, liver and pancreatic disorders, irritable bowl syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and more.

Pasco occupational ARNP

Pamela Morris, a certified advanced registered nurse practitioner, has begun seeing patients at Lourdes Occupational Health, 9915 Sandifur Parkway, Pasco.

She sees patients for pre-placement and post job offer physicals, diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries, Department of Transportation physicals, respiratory protection programs, hearing conservation programs, medical surveillance, fitness for duty and more.

Morris was most recently with Prosser Memorial Health Family Medicine, where she was the medical director and treated occupational health patients.

She previously practiced with Total Care Clinics and 8 AM to 8 PM Family Medicine in Kennewick, and she cared for patients in the surgical unit and served on the trauma and code teams at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

She also worked as an associate professor for 15 years in the Department of Nursing at Columbia Basin College.

“Pamela is highly proficient and skilled and treats her patients with respect and compassion,” said Dr. Kevin Taylor, Lourdes medical director. “Her expertise, approach and experience will serve our patients and area employers well.”

Pamela earned her advanced registered nurse practitioner and master of nursing with summa cum laude recognition from Washington State University.

She received a master of arts in organizational psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Department of Transportation National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

Oasis Physical Therapy clinic

Oasis Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab has opened an outpatient clinic in Kennewick, giving it five locations in the Tri-Cities and one in Walla Walla.

The new clinic is at 9501 W. Clearwater Ave., Suite A130, and can be contacted by phone at 509-241-8120.

Clinic director Andrew Neumann earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from Arcadia University. He is board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist.
