Doctor Who boss says David Tennant is "retired" from show
Doctor Who boss Russell T Davies claims David Tennant has "retired" from the iconic show.
Tennant first played the Tenth Doctor back in 2005 and recently returned as the Fourteenth Doctor in last year's 60th anniversary specials, where he bi-generated into Ncuti Gatwa's version and seemingly settled into a new life with Donna Noble.
"I think he died. I'm going to start saying that," Davies jokingly told The Times when asked if Tennant could return again.

"He went to Venice, 2063, when the city sank, and he went into a whirlpool, which is really sad... David is parked and retired and it's all Ncuti's show now. Genuinely. Not that David might be coming back — he's absolutely not coming back."
Tennant weighed in on the subject in February while speaking to Radio Times.
He said: "The Doctor's happy. He is in a garden in Chiswick, being made mac and cheese by Bonnie Langford! The door is not any more open than it ever was, because in Doctor Who if you want to bring someone back, there are endless ways of doing it. It's very much the end of the story."

It's not the first time Davies has ruled out a return for Tennant. Late last year, he told Digital Spy and other press: "This is the age of Ncuti now. It's David who?
"It's a busy TARDIS. [Gatwa and Millie Gibson] are going to just sail across the universe and capture your heart. So, it's time to look at these two."
