DIGHTON — Which municipal employees made the most in Dighton in 2023?  The Gazette analyzed salary data from the town of Dighton to get the answer.

The town had 218 employees on its payroll for 2023, including full-time, part-time, and temporary workers.

With the exception of the town administrator, all of the top 10 is made up of police and fire department employees.

Overtime pay remains a noticeable chunk of the total for many of the highest earning employees.

Treasurer/Collector Paul Reynolds III informed the Gazette, that, with the exception of overtime, Town of Dighton’s payroll system doesn’t allow a complete separation of types of non-regular compensation, like paid details, unused vacation time, travel reimbursements.  They can only lump it all together as “additional” pay, separate from the base salary.
