Russell put her own unique twist on Walk The Moon's "Shut Up And Dance," and the judges gave her a standing ovation.

Perry asked, "Were you going to get up and walk around? What happened?"

"I just kind of changed my mind," Russell smirked. "My nerves get nervous."

The judges didn't find those nerves taking away from her performance during Sunday night's first song.

"You were the most confident I've seen you even if it was from a profile," Perry said. "It was the most confident and the best sounding you've ever sounded. "Chill bumps everywhere."

Bryan recalled how they couldn't hear Russell from 10 or 15 feet away durin her audition, and echoed Perry's senitments.

Lionel Richie loved the performance: "If you had any nerves, we couldn't see it. Your confidence is on point. You're stepping into that lane we call superstar."

The second song was Adele's "Water Under The Bridge" and Perry thought Russell never sounded better than tonight.

"I think you got the memo," Perry said.

Richie raved over Russell once again.

"A little sultry tonight. A little sassy," Lionel Richie said. "What I'm saying is, you are standing in your light. That's very, very cool. Welcome aboard."
