Did Emily in Paris Score an Early Season 5 Renewal? Pas Encore!
Winnie Harlow and Paris Jackson appeared at the 30th Amfar Gala Cannes fundraising event on Thursday to announce that a walk-on role for Emily in Paris Season 5 was up for bidding (as seen in a video shared by our sister site Variety).
Thing is, Season 5 has not been greenlit yet by Netflix.
Amfar has since updated its online description of the auction item to say, “As part of the walk-on role, the winning bidder will have the opportunity to spend a day on set in Paris during filming, contingent upon season 5 pickup. To tide you over until then, the winning bidder and a guest are invited to attend the Los Angeles première of ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 4 this August.”

Emily in Paris Season 3 dropped back in December of the year 2022. The Netflix comedy’s fourth season will unspool over two parts, with the first five episodes premiering Thursday, Aug. 15, followed by five more on Thursday, Sept. 12.
In Season 4, “after the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed,” the official synopsis reads. Plus, “Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of.”
“At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups,” the description continues. “Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty.”
