Dick Vitale Releases National Championship Score Prediction
As Dick Vitale continues to recover after overcoming cancer this past season, the legendary college basketball personality revealed his prediction for Monday night’s national championship between Kansas and North Carolina.
On his customary whiteboard, Dickie V laid out his keys to the game before sharing his final score prediction.

For the Jayhawks, Vitale believes Kansas will have to shoot the three-ball, continue to limit turnovers, control the combo of R.J. Davis and Caleb Love and neutralize UNC on the glass. The former coach also says senior guard Ochai Agbaji must stay hot for Bill Self to collect his second national title.
On the Tar Heels side, Vitale says Carolina needs to recover emotionally after such a draining semi-final game against Duke.
Armando Bacot will need to be big on the glass, and Love’s clutch performances need to continue. He also thinks the Heels need more long-range shooting from Brady Manek, as well as Love.

In the end though, Vitale predicts Kansas will walk away victorious. Predicting a national championship score of KU 83, UNC 74.
