Dick Van Dyke, 97, Shows Off New Talent in 'Inspirational' Video

Dick Van Dyke proved you can pick up a new hobby at any age with his latest social media post.

On August 22, the 97-year-old shared a video of himself learning to play the ukulele with a friend. In the Instagram video, the friend exclaimed, "I can't play G7."

Van Dyke responded, "I can't either!" Despite not mastering the chord, the Mary Poppins star was able to create some melodic strums.

He also mentioned in the caption that though this was his first time taking lessons, his wife Arlene Silver has already taken three. The Dick Van Dyke Show alum wrote, "My first ukulele lesson with @getstartedplayingukulele, @bijoubox’s third. It's never too late to start something new #dandyvandyclub @curedaily @alauradesign."

Van Dyke's fans were impressed by his dedication to expanding his talents at 97.
