The past few years have been challenging for Dez Bryant, but the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver hasn’t given up hope just yet.

After missing all of 2018 and 2019, Bryant appeared in six games for the Baltimore Ravens last season. In those six games, Bryant had six receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns.

Instead of re-signing Bryant this offseason, Baltimore decided to add Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins to their depth chart. That pretty much ended any chance of him returning to the roster.

Even though it’s unclear where Bryant may end up for the 2021 season, he has no doubt that he’ll be back on an NFL field very soon.

“I’m not going to rely on what I think but I have faith I’ll be on a roster soon… the grind will continue,” Bryant tweeted on Friday night.

Bryant also posted a workout clip on his Twitter account this week that included a brief rant about his reputation.

“This angle crazy…. But what’s really crazy I never been a locker room cancer .. can’t one player I ever played with call me selfish..no player I’ve ever played with can say I’m a f***ed person… I respect the athlete… it’s some deeper s*** going on why I’m not on a roster.”

Bryant’s recent injury history most likely scares executives more than his off-field demeanor.

Since training camp is about to begin for all 32 teams, Bryant could potentially receive a few calls over the next few weeks.
