Developer wants to bring ‘Palm Beach’ to North Myrtle Beach with new shopping center

Construction is well underway for a new shopping in North Myrtle Beach — and it’ll give the area a Palm Beach charm for residents.

Lake View Commons, a 14,000-square-foot shopping center, will be complete sometime in March, according to King One Properties developer and CEO Michael King.

“I’m gonna bring Palm Beach to North Myrtle Beach,” King said he told his architect. “I’ve always liked South Florida.”

Here’s what’s coming to the Lake View Commons shopping center in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

900 Prime, a high-end fine-dining steakhouse, will be the main attraction to this lakeside shopping center. Owned by locals Ken and Tracy Northcutt, it’ll be the talk of the town, King said.

“I can guarantee you that it will be one of the best steakhouses in the Southeast,” he said.

Next door to the steakhouse will be am artisan wine and cheese shop, as well as a Riccobene & Associates dentistry, which currently have about 40 locations in North Carolina.

According to King, there’s room for two more tenants in phase one. Although a coffee shop and a pediatric dentist may soon take those spots, he said.

Phase two will bring a larger shopping center to the development, and is estimated to complete in the first quarter of 2024. Already, new restaurants and a doctor’s office are planned for that project.

“ I have had many tell me that they wanted to be a part of this location,” King said.

A new stop light at the entrance will be added as well.

The center will be located south of Dick’s Pawn Superstore North, at 900 Highway 17 South.
