Game notes: The Tigers return home after splitting their West Coast trip, which started when they took two of three in Seattle. Now, the Mariners trek to Comerica Park for the start of three games and it’ll be a rematch from Wednesday on the mound featuring Tarik Skubal and George Kirby. The Tigers won that game, 6-2, with Skubal tossing seven innings of two-run, three-hit ball with nine strikeouts. Kirby gave up two home runs among three earned runs in five innings. The Mariners are tied with Houston atop the American League West Division standings.
