Detroit Pistons vs. Boston Celtics injury report, lineups: Will Jayson Tatum play today?
The Detroit Pistons are gigantic underdogs once again Friday, in their fourth-to-last home game of the season when when they host the Boston Celtics on their lone visit to Little Caesars Arena this season.
This might be a glimpse for metro Detroiters of seeing a historic basketball team.
Boston is the runaway top team by record (55-14) in the NBA, currently first in the standings with a 10½-game lead over Milwaukee in the Eastern Conference, and it has six more wins than Denver.
The Pistons, with a loss, will once again tie Washington for the NBA's worst record.

The Celtics whacked the Pistons on Monday, 119-94, in Boston, when both teams were down a handful of starters. The Pistons did not have Cade Cunningham, and the Celtics were down Jayson Tatum, among others. The list of injuries for the Pistons is lengthy, and the Celtics won't have their core-five starters either. See the injury report and projected starters below.
Up next for the Pistons is a matchup Sunday afternoon at home vs. Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pistons then finish with nine of their final 11 games on the road.
