Detroit Lions trade up in 2024 NFL Draft to pick Alabama's Terrion Arnold | Social media reactions

The Detroit Lions have made their pick.

Trading up with the Dallas Cowboys to No. 24 overall from No. 29, the Lions selected Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 6-foot cornerback out of Tuscaloosa was a first team All-American selection by the Associated Press in 2023 after finishing with 63 total tackles, a team-high 17 pass breakups and five interceptions for the Crimson Tide.

Considering the Lions were in need of a cornerback — and the fact they traded up to select Arnold — the selection by Lions executive vice president and general manager Brad Holmes received a rather positive reaction from Lions fans and those within the NFL.
