New Details Emerge in Arrest of Wynonna Judd’s Daughter

Wynnona Judd's daughter, Grace Kelley, is facing new charges after being arrested in a small Alabama city last Friday.

As Parade reported earlier this week, the 27-year-old has been accused of exposing her breasts and other intimate parts of her body while standing at the side of a busy highway intersection on April 5.

According to local news outlet WSMV 4, she was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors: indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations, as she allegedly refused to comply with law enforcement officers on the scene.

Now, nearly a week after the initial incident, additional charges have been brought up against the accused.

Local police chief P.K. Johnson disclosed in a new interview with Daily Mail that Kelley was also charged with soliciting prostitution for holding up a sign that read "Ride for a Ride" while she allegedly flashed cars that passed by.

The new charge–another misdemeanor–was added as Kelley's previously scheduled court appearance in Millbrook, Alabama, on Thursday, April 11, was postponed two weeks and reassigned for April 25, according to the outlet. Kelley remains in the Elmore County jail on a $2,000 bond.

This isn't Kelley's first run-in with the law, as she previously was convicted of charges related to methamphetamine manufacturing, sale and possession in 2017. She served almost a year of jail time and was ordered to enter a recovery program for 180 days. She left the program early and was arrested again, this time sentenced to eight years in a Tennessee prison.

Kelley was granted parole in November 2019, though she was once again arrested in 2020 for violating the terms of her probation. She was sentenced to eight years in prison again, before being granted parole in April 2021. She was then arrested again later that same year, but granted an early release in 2022.

The following year, she was arrested in May 2023 on charges that she violated a restraining order and broke the conditions of her parole, multiple outlets report.

Judd welcomed Kelley with her ex-husband Arch Kelley III, with whom the country music star was married from 1996 until their divorce in 1998. The former couple also shares 29-year-old son Elijah Judd.
