It’s safe to say that Desmond Howard isn’t a fan of what’s currently happening in college football.

The ESPN college football analyst sounded off on the state of his favorite sport, which is currently being impacted heavily by name, image and likeness, as it’s prompting a number of major transfers across the country.

Howard said he’s worried about the state of college football.

“I’m just not a fan of the trajectory of college football right now.”

Many agree.

“NCAA never had a plan and that’s the failure. To blame this on the kids transferring now because of better opportunities, takes the onus off all the adults who failed to plan and address this YEARS ago,” Howard added.

Fans don’t like the constant movement.

“I agree. Both players AND coaches should have some rules and regulations behind jumping ship,” one fan tweeted.

“He almost nails it. We need regulations. Players should be able to leave if their head coach leaves. Otherwise there has to be movement restrictions because what we’re gonna get is European soccer where it’s the same 6-8 teams that win every single year,” another fan added.

Not everyone agrees, though.

“It’s so hypocritical of these people who MAKE THEIR LIVING OFF OF COLLEGE ATHLETES to not think the athletes should have the same rights as they (or other college students) do,” one fan added.
