The Dell, Sonya Curry Divorce News Is Getting Ugly
Earlier this week, news broke that Sonya Curry, the mother of NBA players Steph and Seth, had filed for divorce from her longtime husband, Dell Curry.
More details have begun to emerge from the situation and they are ugly.
TMZ Sports reported on Wednesday that Sonya Curry is accused of cheating on Dell Curry with a former NFL player.
Dell Curry has accused Sonya Curry of cheating on him with former Patriots tight end Steven Johnson. Sonya Curry is also accused of living with Johnson.
In the docs, Dell says Sonya “began her extramarital affair with Mr. Johnson during the marriage and prior to the date of separation, and she lied to [Dell] each time she cheated on him.” Dell, in the docs, says Sonya is actually living with Johnson in Tennessee … and claims she should not be entitled to alimony because of it.
Sonya Curry admits to being in a new relationship, but denies the cheating allegations. She claims the relationship started after things broke apart with Dell Curry. Sonya Curry also says she is living on her own.

That’s not all.
Dell Curry, a longtime NBA player, is accused of cheating on Sonya Curry. He allegedly hooked up with multiple women. Friends and family were reportedly aware of the cheating, per the report.
Sonya Curry, meanwhile, has since gone private on Instagram.
It’s been an eventful week for the Curry family. Earlier this week, Steph Curry shared a heartfelt birthday message for his younger brother.
Hopefully things will get less ugly for the family over time. Divorce is never easy.
