DC Young Fly Asks for Return of Stolen Bag Containing Ms Jacky Oh's Death Certificate

DC Young Fly is using social media to plead for the return of a bag that contained the death certificate of his late partner, Ms Jacky Oh!.

In a since-deleted post shared on Instagram Tuesday and reposted by comedian D.L. Hughley, the Wild 'N Out star claimed his bag was stolen while he was at the Hollywood Improv comedy club in Los Angeles.

"I jus[t] want my bag," the rapper wrote. "Jus[t] politely find a way to get it back to me!!!! I had personal belongings in there!!!!"

The rapper, 31, later shared another now-deleted post requesting the bag's safe return to the comedy club and explaining what "personal belongings" were inside it. In a clip shared by X (formerly Twitter) user Dilemaradio, he began the video by saying he "really was trying to refrain from these videos."

"I just want my bookbag bag, it's just got some personal belongings in that motherf**ker, you feel me?" he continued. "Some personal belongings in that motherf**ker, bruh."

DC Young Fly emphasized that he just wanted the return of the bag because of the items in there and that there wasn't any money in it. "I really hate that I gotta do all this s**t," he said. "The bag got my girl's death certificate in it. It got personal belongings in it. I just need the bag, bro. I just want the bag, bro. Really, just bring it back with everything, 'cause it wasn't nothing in it. Just bring me the bag."

The incident comes over eight months after the comedian tragically lost his longtime partner and the mother of his children. Jacky Oh, whose real name was Jacklyn Smith, died on May 31, 2023, in Miami from complications from cosmetic surgery. She was 33.

Fly and Oh met in 2015, the same year that the rapper made his first appearance on Wild 'N Out, on which Jacky was already starring. The pair shared three children -- Nova, Nala and Prince Nehemiah.

During an emotional December 2023 appearance on The Tamron Hall Show, Fly opened up about his grieving process, telling the host that it's different for everyone, especially for someone like him who has suffered numerous unimaginable losses in his short life.

"When that happened, I was like, 'OK, I've been through this before. All right. I know not to act like that.' I've been through so much loss where it's like emotionally, like, number to death, because I'm used to it since I was 16," the comedian shared. "Every death is a different reaction. With my cousin, I was angry. When my father died, I was at peace. When my best friend died, I was confused. Now, when my girl died, I'm shocked."

"It's gonna be hard but they're built for it," said DC, referring to his children grieving the loss of their mother. "I wouldn't wish this on nobody. It's hard every day still to this day. It feels like a dream, feels like she's gonna walk in."
