David Beckham has trolled his wife Victoria once again over her "working class" comments in his recent documentary series.

The now-viral clip from Netflix's Beckham saw the former Spice Girl claim that she and her husband came from working class backgrounds.

However, David interrupted the interview as he asked his wife: “Be honest. What car did your dad drive you to school in?”

As she danced round the question and said it wasn't a "simple answer", she eventually admitted that her dad had a Rolls-Royce in the 80s, David concluding: "Thank you."

David has now poked further fun at Victoria as she shared a picture of a lunch the couple enjoyed on New Year's Eve with her parents.

"Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz @victoriabeckham," he quipped. "Very working class My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s".

Victoria previously got in on the joke too, as she promoted a new £118 T-shirt on her website with the words: "My dad had a Rolls-Royce".

The four-part Beckham series was released in October and follows the rise of footballer David to become one of the sport's most-celebrated players, as well as his celebrity and relationship with his wife. It also takes a look at some of David's lower moments such as the star's infamous red card at the 1998 World Cup.

The show includes interviews with David and Victoria, as well as Sir Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona, Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand, and is directed by Succession's Fisher Stevens.

Beckham is streaming now in four parts on Netflix.
