'Dashing Through the Snow' Puts a New Twist on Christmas

One of those must-sees is Dashing Through the Snow, A Christmas Carol-esque story that finds a social worker rediscovering the joys of the holiday season.

What is Dashing Through the Snow about?
Dashing Through the Snow is a touching comedy about an Atlanta social worker who takes an unexpected Christmas Eve journey with his estranged daughter to help him remember the joy and magic of the holidays.
Eddie Garrick (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) is a good-hearted man who has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience. At the request of his wife Allison Garrick (Teyonah Parris), from whom he is separated, Eddie takes their 9-year-old daughter, Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum), to work with him on Christmas Eve, where they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick (Lil Rel Howery). Eddie, a social worker, thinks the man is delusional and needs professional help, but when he evokes the wrath of a local politician (Oscar Nuñez), he and his daughter are taken on a magical adventure that just might restore his faith in Christmas.

Lil Rel Howery (Nick)
Comedian Lil Rel Howery is probably best known for his role as Rod Williams in the Jordan Peele psychological horror film Get Out. He has appeared in movies such as Free Guy, Bird Box and Space Jam: A New Legacy, and in television shows The Carmichael Show, Insecure and The Chi.
Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Eddie Garrick)
Rapper Ludacris wrote his first rap song at age nine and is a distant cousin of comedian/actor Richard Pryor. He has over three dozen Top 40 hits across eight studio albums. As an actor, he's appeared in films like 2 Fast 2 Furious, Hustle & Flow and No Strings Attached. On television he has made appearances on Law & Order: SVU, Doc McStuffins and The Simpsons.
Teyonah Parris (Allison Garrick)
A Juilliard School graduate, Parris' first prominent role was playing secretary Dawn Chambers on Mad Men. She has appeared in films such as Chi-Raq, If Beale Street Could Talk and Dear White People, and on television shows like The Good Wife, Wandavision and Empire.
