Darren Criss Shares Sweet Family Update: 'Coming Soon'

Darren Criss has something new to sing about: He's set to be a dad of two.
On Thursday, Dec. 21, the Glee alum took to Instagram to announce that he and wife Mia Swier are expecting their second child together. Alongside an image—which featured Criss, Swier, and their first child, daughter Bluesy Belle, photoshopped onto the poster of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again—Criss, 36, wrote, "And COMING SOON…let’s hope the sequel is better than the photoshop✌️🤪 ‼️"
Unsurprisingly, the sweet family update prompted several loving comments from Criss' famous friends. For instance, Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause wrote, "Congrats!!!❤️❤️❤️."
NSYNC's Lance Bass replied with a series of excited emojis: "❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️." Singer Betty Who added, "omg YAS!!!"
Devin Lytle, who starred alongside Criss in A Very Potter Musical, gushed online, "We love to see it! Congrats you two!"
Criss and Swier's new addition comes over a year-and-a-half after they welcomed their aforementioned daughter, who was born in April 2022. Following Bluesy Belle's arrival into the world, the Emmy winner shared a loving photo of his little family on Instagram. He added in the caption, "M & D made some sweet music."
He also confirmed that Bluesy Belle was born on April 11.
Later in 2022, the American Crime Story alum made it clear that he was loving fatherhood, calling it a "wonderful" experience to Entertainment Tonight.
"I try and bring my best version of myself to everything I do. So hopefully I’ve enhanced. I’ve leveled up," he said of how he's grown since becoming a father.
