Danny DeVito wants to reprise his Batman role alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in a new movie.

Speaking with PEOPLE at an exclusive cocktail reception to celebrate the official launch of Hulu on Disney+ on April 5, the actor, 79, said he "had a ball" when presenting at the 2024 Oscars alongside Schwarzenegger, 76, and noted that they are "planning to work together again."

DeVito — who played The Penguin in the 1992 movie Batman Returns — then shared his thoughts on the possibility that he and Schwarzenegger, who starred as the villain Mr. Freeze in 1997's Batman & Robin, might reunite onscreen in a future movie about the Gotham City superhero.

“Oh, I don't know. I don't think it's a bad idea because you got Keaton, you got [Schwarzenegger], you got DeVito. We could do those same parts. Yeah, why not?” he told PEOPLE, before jokingly adding, “Go tell [co-chair and CEO of Warner Bros] Pam Abdi to do that. And [MGM chairman] Mike DeLuca.”

DeVito famously sported a prosthetic nose, sharp teeth and a noticeably pale complexion when he starred as the villain opposite Keaton's Batman in director Tim Burton's Batman film.

Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger's character in Batman & Robin was scientist Victor Fries, who became bad guy Mr. Freeze after an accident. He starred opposite George Clooney as Batman in that film.

Despite their villainous roles in the Batman movies, DeVito and Schwarzenegger — who also famously costarred in 1998 movie Twins — are great friends in real life.

Still, the Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor shared that there are "two things" that make the friends differ.

"I don't work out like him, so he wants me to pump a little bit," DeVito told PEOPLE, adding, "And he likes dessert and I am trying to stay away from dessert."

He continues of his friend, "He eats dessert, but he works out all the time so he's always in great shape."
