Danny DeVito would "definitely consider" Penguin return
Danny DeVito may be down to return to the role of Penguin in an upcoming Batman instalment.
The super villain, also known as Oswald Cobblepot, made his debut in Tim Burton's 1992 movie Batman Returns, opposite Michael Keaton's Caped Crusader.
As Keaton recently reprised the role of Batman in DC's multiverse outing The Flash, is there any chance to see DeVito rocking the crime lord's top hat once more? Yes, according to the It's Always Sunny star himself.
"I would definitely consider doing it, yeah," DeVito told SFX in a chat for their latest issue, explaining the spiral umbrella he spins in the film is "a treasure" of his.

"Batman Returns was a great part, it was operatic. You could just pull out all the stops," the actor reflected.
"There were so many motivating things, so many things churning up inside of him. Being the odd man out – the odd bird out – brought the character out of me.
"It was an emotional experience for me because I felt it was an opportunity of a lifetime to play Oswald Cobblepot with Tim's vision and design. Tim is a genius to me."

While we wait for DeVito's Penguin to make his grand entrance once more, the villainous character will soon take the small screen by storm in an iteration played by Colin Farrell. The spinoff series sees the Banshees of Inisherin star reprise the role from Matt Reeves's The Batman.
Runaways actor Rhenzy Feliz, How I Met Your Mother's Cristin Milioti, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Michael Zegen, Sons of Anarchy actor Theo Rossi and acting legend Clancy Brown round out the cast.
The Penguin is set for a 2024 release.
