Dalton Gomez Still Considers Ariana Grande “His Partner” Even Though She’s Dating Ethan Slater
Ariana Grande’s estranged husband Dalton Gomez is having a hard time moving on amid their separation—even though they’re both dating other people. According to an Entertainment Tonight source, “Dalton is having a hard time after his breakup with Ariana. It has been a difficult time for him because he wanted to make things work.”
Apparently, Dalton—who traveled to Europe recently to try to work things out with Ari—still “has a lot of love for her and still considers her his partner, but she has moved on. Dalton’s friends are encouraging him to do the same.”
Ariana has specifically moved on with her Wicked costar Ethan Slater, who is also coming off a separation from his wife (and partner of 10 years).
“Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun,” ET’s source says. “They didn’t start dating until both were broken up with their significant others. Ariana and Dalton remain friends.”
A source previously told Page Six that Ethan’s estranged wife Lilly Jay is “completely blindsided” by Ariana and Ethan dating and added, “It’s horrible. They were high school sweethearts. They have a baby! She’s a wreck.” ET’s insider also thinks that Ariana and Ethan are the reason Ethan and Lilly “suddenly” broke up “when nothing appeared wrong between them.”
As of now, neither Ariana nor Ethan have spoken out about (or even confirmed!) their relationship.
