Need a custom cake in Tri-Cities? If you can dream it, these local bakers can make it
In the past several years, the culture around cake has grown in unexpected ways. On social media, numerous trends, memes and pranks revolve around cake.
One joke that took the Internet by storm for a few months in 2020 was “Is it cake?” videos in which an object is shown that looks seemingly normal, until it’s cut into, revealing it is actually a cake. Hyper-realistic cakes became common on people’s timelines for a while.
Since then, Netflix has released a game show based on these memes, “Is It Cake?.” Season Two is scheduled for release by July 2023.
But can local bakers also make such realistic treats?
Turns out, multiple businesses in the Tri-Cities area offer delicacies that look like real objects at first glance. They can also decorate things without camouflaging them, of course. If you find yourself in need of a custom cake, no matter the circumstances, check out these local options.
