CSI: Vegas Premiere Sneak Peek: Max Gives Murder Suspect Josh a Chance to Explain Himself (Exclusive)

As Season 3 of CBS’ CSI: Vegas opens this Sunday night, Max asks for a little one-on-one time with murder suspect Josh, before surrendering him to the cops proper — though she may not like what her colleague has to say.

In last May’s finale, Josh (played by Matt Lauria) was dead set on revenge after learning that his mother Jeanette (Lolita Davidovich) had been killed after a drug run. Forced off the case by Max (Paula Newsome), Josh went rogue and sprung his childhood BFF Trey (Daniel di Tomasso) from jail, and the two kidnapped a man named Kahn Schefter in order to find out who killed Josh’s mom.

But what Josh unexpectedly learned was that Kahn himself was Jeanette’s killer.

Later, Kann’s dead body was discovered in a dumpster. The CSI team later found Josh looking stone-cold and staring at a picture of his mom. “Joshua, why?” asked Max. But he’d only respond, “I found him.” Josh was then taken into custody by Serena (Ariana Guerra), his very own girlfriend (ouch).

In CSI: Vegas‘ Season 3 premiere, titled “The Reaper” and airing this Sunday at 10/9c (new time slot alert!), with Josh under arrest for Kahn Schefter’s murder, Max and the CSI team comb through every crumb of forensic evidence to determine his innocence or guilt.

But first, as seen in the exclusive sneak peek above, Max needs a moment alone with Josh soon after his arrest. What does he have to say in the wake of Kahn Schefter’s murder? Press play above and find out!
