Al Roker is dancing on the ceiling this Halloween!
The Today star dressed up as Lionel Richie on Tuesday, Oct. 31, for the fall holiday, putting on a show for an audience of the morning show’s fans, who enthusiastically cheered him on.
For the musical presentation, where he chose to bust a move to the artist's 1986 tune "Dancing on the Ceiling," Roker channeled the “We Are the World“ singer in a brightly colored top with tassels worn over a cow-print button-up, along with plaid pants, and black dress shoes. The look was complete with a wig full of hair and the dance moves to compliment it (which, in all honesty, is impressive due to his multiple knee replacement surgeries).
A video clip of the moment was shared on Instagram, and viewers poured in to applaud the famed weatherman and his lively display.
"Nailed it 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️," one said, while another added, "Lionel has never looked better Mr Roker!!"
"Al you got moves👏," someone else noticed, as a fourth confirmed, "Loved it! Al channeling Lional [sic] 🙌."
A fifth joyously chimed in, writing, "You go Al!!!❤️."
In lieu of actual words, several more simply sent in a wealth of clapping hands and fire flames emojis.
Meanwhile, someone else wrote what we were thinking with "Nobody has more fun than Al on Halloween lol 😂."
If you know Al, you know this is nothing new for the 69-year-old, as he is no stranger to pulling off epic costumes. For last year's festivities, the father of three did not disappoint while dressed up as multi-talented blues singer, Sammy Davis Jr.
