UPDATE: Oregon Highway 99W reopen 1 mile south of Amity after crash

Oregon Route 99W has reopened after a crash closed the highway in both directions about a mile south of Amity on Saturday, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

ODOT said the crash happened at milepost 45.5 and reported the closure just before noon. It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.

A detour had been set up and drivers were told to expect delays or use an alternate route, according to ODOT.
