Craft fair season is in full swing in the Fall River area. Here's some to check out.

The holiday season brings with it one of the area's favorite traditions — craft fairs. It’s almost time to head out with family and friends to stroll the endless aisle of crafts, wares, and goodies.

Getting a unique gift for your loved ones has never been easier than heading to a local craft fair where you get the added bonus of supporting small businesses and area crafters.

From handmade jewelry, gifts, and ornaments; to baked goods and raffles the craft fair is your one-stop shop this holiday season. Make sure to fill your calendar with these fairs headed to the Greater Fall River area.

Diman PTO Craft Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4

Where: Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, 251 Stonehaven Road, Fall River

Browse through over 60 vendors selling a variety of goods sure to complete your shopping list. There will be a bake sale and a large raffle table as well as food and beverages for sale.

Holy Trinity School Craft & Vendor Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4

Where: Holy Trinity Church Hall, 951 Stafford Road, Fall River

Explore over 20 local crafters and vendors showcasing their beautiful products. There will be raffles and lots of food for purchase including malasadas, chow mein, chourico, and more. There will also be live performances throughout the day by Holy Trinity students.

Christmas Bazaar

When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11

Where: Our Lady of Peace Parish, 306 South St., Somerset

All your holiday needs will be met as crafters fill the bazaar with homemade crafts, wares, and home goods.

VFW Craft and Vendor Fundraiser

When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11

Where: VFW Post 486, 486 Bedford St., Fall River

Help raise money for VFW Post 486 while getting your holiday shopping done. There will be 18 vendors, food, and raffles with all the money raised going to the VFW.

Autumn Craft Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12

Where: The Liberal Club, 20 Star St.., Fall River

Spend the afternoon shopping the over 70 vendors selling their thoughtful creations and gifts. Make sure to visit with Santa from noon to 2 p.m. to check his list!

Holiday Faire

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18

Where: 2122 County St., Somerset

Head over to the Church of Our Savior for crafts, gifts, jewelry, cookies, pet items, and food. There will be a silent auction and raffles as well as a visit from Santa.

Holiday Bazaar & Craft Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19

Where: St. Anthony of the Desert Maronite Catholic Church, 300 North Eastern Ave., Fall River

Two days of crafts, Lebanese food and pastries, gift baskets, home décor, a farmer’s market, and more. Just in time for you to stock up on all your gifts for the holiday.

Fall River Farmers & ArtisanThanksmas Market

When: 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18

Where: Old Second St., Fall River

Experience this charming night market it features local vendors, live music, activities, great food, and so much more. There will be 70 vendors selling a variety of goods, including holiday décor and gifts.

Friends of the Cardinals Craft/Vendor Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19

Where: Joseph Case High School, 70 School St., Swansea

Just in time for holidays shop local artists and small businesses with over 50 vendors and concessions.

Relay For Life Holiday Craft Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25

Where: White’s of Westport, 66 State Road, Westport

Shop through over 50 vendors selling a wide variety of items. You can your Christmas shopping done early while supporting small businesses.

SOAM’s Outdoor Holiday Market

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25

Where: Chick Marchand Memorial Park, 100 Newhill Ave., Somerset

Get into the holiday spirit with this holiday market full of local gift shopping, food, entertainment, and nostalgic highlights. More than 100 artists will be bringing the best items together for one massive shopping extravaganza.

Wes-Mac PTO Holiday Fair

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2

Where: Westport Middle-High School, 400 Old County Road, Westport

Holiday fun for the entire family with a kids holiday shoppe, 40 plus vendors, food and sweets, and more. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. make sure to bring your camera to take your picture with Santa. Admission with a canned goods donation.

Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec.2 and Sunday, Dec. 3

Where: B.M.C Durfee High School, 460 Elsbree St., Fall River

In its 47th year, the Durfee Arts and Craft Fair is a highly anticipated weekend. One of the largest craft fairs in the area, it has an array of talented artisans showcasing and selling handmade works.

Holiday Vendor & Craft Fair

When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9

Where: Swansea Community Center, 260 Ocean Grove Ave., Swansea

Join the Swansea Historical Society for this fun event. Get some holiday shopping done, visit Santa, and taste-test the bake sale.
