Cracker Barrel Old Country Store breaks ground in Fort Worth, plans summer opening

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has broken ground at 15805 North Freeway, with plans for a summer opening.

The location is north of Alliance Boulevard, near Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport in far north Fort Worth.

The restaurant, known for comfort favorites like homemade biscuits, slow-roasted beef and mashed potatoes made from scratch, expects to hire approximately 200 full and part-time employees, according to a release from Cracker Barrel.

This will be the chain’s 55th store in Texas. Other locations are in Grapevine, Arlington, Burleson and north Fort Worth.
