COVID protocols ‘ain’t happenin’ on Kid Rock tour

“Devil Without a Cause” singer Kid Rock assured fans that his upcoming “Bad Reputation” tour will not include venues that have vaccine mandates in place.

“If you think I’m going to sit out there and sing ‘Don’t Tell me How to Live’ and ‘We the People’ while people are holding up their f---ing vaccine cards and wearing masks, that s--t ain’t happenin,’” he said in a video posted to his Facebook page on Thursday.

According to Kid Rock, he’s not aware of any venues on the tour where proof of vaccination is required, but decided not to play in Buffalo or Toronto because of pandemic restrictions. He also said in the video that if the concert halls where he’s booked were to require masks or vaccinations, fans will get their money back because he won’t be there.

The 51-year-old singer also ranted about the “liberal media,” “the haters” and cancel culture, then told fans to tune in to “Tucker Carlson Tonight” for a special announcement Friday.

Earlier in the week, Kid Rock released a song called “We the People,” in which he rails against President Biden, top infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci, social media companies and traditional media outlets, while also calling for “love and unity.”

Kid Rock canceled a show in Texas in August, claiming on his website that, “Over half the band has f---ng covid,” not including himself. He also said that he’d been vaccinated.
