The Courier Journal announces sixth annual Color the Jockey Silks contest winners
The Courier Journal received almost 200 entries for its sixth annual Color the Jockey Silks competition sponsored by COIT Cleaning & Restoration.
We asked you to get creative — and that's exactly what you did. The decorated Kentucky Derby jockey silks you sent us were fun, colorful and unique.
A group of judges from The Courier Journal newsroom whittled the entries down to the Top 36 and chose the top entry in four categories: ages 12 and under, ages 13-20, ages 21 and over, and Best Overall.
Each winner will receive $100 from the Courier Journal.
